I love nail gradients! Sponge gradients are very easy to do and they create a lot of impact for the effort. The only important thing is to find opaque cream polishes that work well. Polishes with metal flecks or glitters are usually sheer or have a jelly base and as a result they don’t sponge well.
I tried experimenting with a more dense glitter topcoat but the bigger glitter pieces took away from the overall scale print. This is my first time using China Glaze Fairy Dust and it is BEAUTIFUL over intricate stamping designs like this one.

I love this nail art! Just wondering, when you’re doing the gradient & stamping part, do you do one nail at a time?

When doing my nails, I do all 10 fingers for each step. Ex: Base color for all 10 nails, then sponge gradient for all 10 nails, then stamp all 10 nails. This allows more time for each finger to dry.. Hope that helps 🙂
