My coveted lace blouse is finally in my clutches thanks to the wonderful and kind Erika.  One size too big and thus a little loose but it is not enough to deter me  My hunger for summery lace has been satisfied thanks to you!

Speaking of hunger… the sole reason of our farmers market trip was to eat freshly baked naan and curry, and wash it down with a large cup of mango lassi.

The cutest little girl was dancing to the music while her mom watched and smiled. Very sweet.

I finally wore this sheer lace crop top!  (With black bandeau top of course)  Bought it a few months ago.  The top is pretty trendy so I haven’t had the confidence to wear it out.. until now.

2 out of my 4 newest shoe darlings are here!  My new Vivienne Westwood + Melissa Dragon Lady Love Heart pumps are a little bit on the loose side but no matter.  I’m going to DIY and use a black grossgrain ribbon to anchor the heel and wrap around my ankle for walking stability.  DIY grossgrain straps aren’t the perfect solution, but its better than leaving them in my closet for good!  They’re too pretty to not wear them!

I’m deathly afraid that my upcoming shipment of Melissa Zen girl flats will be too big.  Sigh.

Today feels like a sleepy kind of Friday, so I’m taking it easy.

I love this Love YaYa dress because its comfortable and chic at the same time.  I also like the contrast between the blouse-y top silouette with the more body conscious grey skirt!

On a side note, visit Zephyr’s 25 reasons why you should dress up everyday!  Dressing up doesn’t always have to be fancy.  As long as you put some effort into your outfit ideas and feel confident with what you’re wearing (even if it means your favorite slouchy tee, diamond studs and jeans!) that counts as ‘dressing up!’

Wore my mom’s vintage LV.  I used to hate the look of vintage handbags, (I used to really be an IT bag kind of girl) but I’ve really come to love the look!  The long straps give it a very boho feel.   And what’s great about vintage bags is you never see anyone else with the same one.

My ‘walking the Strip’ outfit!  The weather was an insane 100+ degrees during the day, so I had to keep cool by packing tops with natural fibers (cotton, linen).

Before my trip I stopped by Crossroads to sell some old clothes I never wear;  a pair of Citizens of Humanity Faye wide leg jeans that are now too small for me, and a pair of Loeffler Randall for Target flats that turned out to be too uncomfortable.  I bought this black tank with gold sequins with my ‘earnings’ and I still have about $13 of store credit left over!  I did a little research on American Retro… turns out it is a French brand.  Who knew?

I’m just lovin’ the sequins.  Pairing black and gold is now my signature look, especially in my accessories.  I just can’t get enough!

My favorite part about the sequins is that they’re very dainty and don’t accidentally catch on my accessories.  Yes!
