Here’s another tried and true recipe for you! (See tried and true recipe posts #1 and #2)

Justin and I made these for a white elephant party this past holiday season and they were a hit! It does sound a bit odd… but if you love bacon and sweet and salty snacks like salted caramels or chocolate covered pretzels, you’ll love these cookies! The piece of bacon on top is just for a garnish and is optional.
See the recipe here, from Closet Cooking.

I think I might have to try and make these these!
It’s been so long since I last commented, but I still regularly read your blog and love that you have a variety of posts. Also, your new YouTube videos are amazing!!
A couple posts back, you mentioned Halloween in Waikiki. They usually close down Kalakaua Ave and it’s packed with people dressed up (from what I hear…. Never been to Oahu in Oct but Maui has a similar event on the west side and it’s one of the very few times traffic is “bad” haha). Awesome deal on the hotel score btw!
Thanks so much Kristi!
I’m flattered! <3 I'm so excited for the trip already! So far all the feedback for Hawaii halloween has been great… now I just have to figure out what to wear
As always thanks so much for reading :]
When I saw the title of this post, my first thought was “What the heck. Bacon and chocolate…in a cookie?!” but as I read on, I think I’m going to have to try and make it! I was planning on making chocolate chip cookies this afternoon anyway and it just so happens I have a pack of bacon in the fridge
Thanks for sharing!
Okay, at first I thought these were a bit on the strange side, but now I think I just might need to try them for myself! I’m most definitely a fan of sweet & salty, so these seem right up my alley!
